Virtual Volkswagen I

This installation appeared twice in front of AS220 in downtown Providence. The first time for New Year's Eve 1997 and the second for the Fool's Ball,1998. Both times it was parked on the sidewalk with it's hazards on .The television that replaced the motor displayed a running engine complete with roaring engine sounds!

The car, a 1971 autostick, was recently sold in running, driving condition.
